You are very hyper. You never slow down, even when it's killing you.
You're the type of person who can be a workaholic during the day... and still have the energy to party all night.
Your energy is definitely a magnet for those around you. People are addicted to your vibe.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.</font></td></tr></table><div align="center"><a href="http://www.blogthings.com/whatsyournameshiddenmeaningquiz/">What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?</a></div></lj-cut>

Facebook...I joined because I got a request from an old work friend. I know some of you are there, but did not register with real names. So, friend me--I am Valerie Luther. I will eventually search through your old posts and find any names y'all posted, but not this minute.

News and Stuff

Jul. 24th, 2007 | 11:20 am
mood: satisfiedsatisfied

So, for those of you who didn't know, we got married July 8th at the Clara Meer dock in Piedmont Park. Our friend Kim took the pictures for us, and we just got the proofs from her and are pondering what to enlarge, etc. My co-worker and friend Laylah did our cake, and my sister and her new husband arranged our flowers with my great-aunt and uncle from San Francisco. We had Low Country Barbecue cater it for us, and I think everybody had a really good time.

PicturesCollapse )

So far, married life is treating us OK. Our birth certificates have been returned from the passport place, and my passport has arrived (Kevin's is supposedly en route), so we are a go for Barbados August 25th. Now we must take the Birth Certificates and go get our marriage license and take it to our minister to make this official. This is where we are supposed to go!

At the end of this week, we get a pre-honeymoon of sorts...Our dear friend and photographer house sits and dog sits for people who have a lot more money than any of us, but unfortunately she will be in France with her husband (who works with Kevin) for two weeks of the time where one of her clients is in Nantucket for the summer. Guess who they trust enough to house sit this mansion in their stead? I am mostly jazzed about the unbelieveable kitchen I will be allowed to cook in, and entertaining fantasies of leaving them a coffeecake and getting offered a personal chef gig. Snort.

As a side note, the CSA was a great idea. We are overloaded with veggies, and at $300 from April through November, this ended up costing us like $12 a week for local, organic vegetables. Today I have two casseroles full of Ratatouille that I plan to pop in the oven tonight, inspired by a recent trip to the movies...
